It probably starts in a similar way for most dog photographers, your own becomes the muse.
In 2013 my husband and I adopted Dexter from The Dogs Trust. He was 3 years old and had been there for half his life. He was underweight and unhappy and we decided he was our boy.
It wasn't long before I realised I couldn't stop taking pictures of him.
At the beginning of 2018 I took the leap, invested in the professional camera equipment I'd been drooling over for years and committed to this thing seriously.
